Hey!! It's Coach Rae!
So, let me get the formalities out of the way. Related to fitness I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and Certified Glute Specialist.
I was a Certified Zumba instructor for 5 years before launching out and creating my own dance fitness format, WERK Dance Fitness.

I have taught independent fitness classes, I have also taught at the YMCA and was actually the Group Fitness Coordinator before Covid hit.
​
I enjoy cardio, and I understand the importance of resistance training, so I teach both of these formats. I also love teaching circuit training classes. As a teacher and a student, I NEED and CRAVE VARIETY, and I HAVE to have FUN!

That's why I have created several fitness formats that I have and will be including here in WERK Online Fitness Studio including: WERK Dance Fitness, Hugiano Gospel-Inspired Dance Fitness, SitFit Seated Dance Fitness, Hips 'N Motion Core Focused Dance Fitness, Bounce WERK Mini Rebounder workout, Bounce WERK HIIT High Intensity Interval Training Mini Rebounder workout, BodiWERK Women's Strength Training workout, and Walk 'N WERK Walking Workout.

I am so excited that you are here and that I get to share these formats with you! One favor I want to ask of you...PLEASE...keep your body moving. It is so important that we overcome living sedentary lifestyles. Physical inactivity is truly detrimental to our health, and is a major risk factor for many chronic diseases and premature death.
So please, make sure you Get Up And Move aka G.U.A.M. EVERYDAY as if your life depended upon it...because it does!

My Story
Believe it or not, I used to HATE exercise...I mean with a PASSION!!
But then, I found a fitness format that I LOVED doing...and the rest is history!

I'm so glad you're here! I am excited to share my love of fitness with you. Now, let me be clear, there are still fitness formats that strongly dislike (body weight exercises anyone???), some that challenge me...in a good way...and others I ADORE!
​
Exercise, especially when you're first starting out, should be fun and something you can look forward to doing. That way, it will increase the chances that you will keep showing up for it, and as such, make it a consistent habit in your life.
​
Exercise has SO many benefits (weight management, improved health function, mood and immune booster, etc.) and my prayer is that you will make it a daily routine. So, I've created many formats for you to participate in . You'll find some short workouts here that you can knock out when you're crunched for time (or just not really feeling it that day, but you know you need to get something in...yeah, I get it!), and you'll find others that you can combine to make a longer session. I believe variety is the spice of life...and the key to a successful fitness journey, so mix it up, try something new, but most importantly...HAVE FUN!!!
